I'm a digital nomad living in Tunisia. UX is central to everything i do. I love to work on meaningful projects with inspiring and creative people that challenge the status quo.
The first step in any project is to get a better understanding of the client. The value in doing this work before moving a single pixel is to establish a greater sense of trust and to show each client that I care about their business and long term success.
The architecture of a system is equally, if not more, important than how it looks and works. I leverage design-thinking in every project to get to the best human centered solution to a challenge with data. I design experiences for the user, not for myself.
While attractive ui designs can be subjective depending on the viewer, I enjoy the challenge of creating universally beautiful designs that also leverage micro-interactions. With visual design and prototyping, I get a chance to delight the user aesthetics and motion.
Creating something and sharing it to the world is very rewarding. However, creating, aggregating feedback and synthesizing it in a way that makes sense and iterating based on user needs is much more fulfilling. Learning to measure progress and iterate is important.
Growing up in Tunisia, i was a breakdancer at the age of 7 until i grew up and get introduced to contemporary dance where i started to be more interested in the world of art and the power ability to express my ideas. I was always fascinated by that style of dance and how we were able to captivate the audience's attention simply using our body language
This passion later developed into my love for creation and expression, which led me to a design and vfx university. During my journey, i had the opportunitie to read a book called "design of everyday things" that helped me discover a new design aspect that is more focused on the experience than the visual side of a product.
While I love communication and design, I was lacking the ability to build and share my ideas with the world. I then began to learn how to code so that I could empower myself to not only build, but to establish a healthy relationship between engineers and myself when working on a project.
Today, I focus my energy on learning as much as possible while maintaining a coherent balance between design, communication and front-end development. Having the ability to make a difference by building products that help people live a better life is magic.
